We spent the morning with Lexi, the phenomenal produce manager at Time Market on University and she was kind enough to show off the best dang produce you can find in Tucson.
Side bar: If you haven't been to time market yet, what planet do you live on?! Go. Like, now. It's been a neighborhood market since 1919 and it's a lot like stepping into Brooklyn. Aside from the killer produce section, you can find wood-fired pizza, craft beer, hand-crafted organic breads, and other artisan products. They even have all of our favorite NYC farmers' market chocolate bars -- that we never thought we would see again after we left the city.
Long story short; it's magical. If you're looking for something cool to do, or something unique to eat, Time Market is your jam. You can read more about Lexi and her produce department in the next issue of Edible Baja, so keep an eye out!
Ok, enough talking. Food.
